(1) found成立;建立;创办。build也有“建立”的意思。但两者存在区别:found多指机构、团体的建立，而build则多用于建筑物。

(2) quit有“放弃:退出，辞职”的意思，可作及物动词也可作不及物动词。此外，quit可接动名词，表示“放弃或停止做某事”。常见搭配有:to quit doing something halfway有头无尾。quit与resign都表示“辞职”的意思，quit是非正式说法，而resign是正式说法。
